Hello and welcome to something that I hope you will get a laugh out of. Here you will find my conversation with a scammer(s) regarding the sale of an item which I had posted online.

If you are unfamiliar with how this scam works it's fairly simple. The buyer is the scammer and they agree to purchase your item but then send you a money order, which is counterfeit, and has a value far exceeding your sale price. You are asked to cash the money order at your bank, keep the amount for your item and then forward the remaining money to the buyer's "shipping agent" via Western Union, so that they might arrange shipping. It can take weeks for the money order to be returned to the bank and when it does you are out the amount you sent.

At first I am only very suspicious, then eventually I start to have fun with writing them back and even begin to write in broken English, which may be hard to read at times but certainly makes it all the more fun.

I have changed my name and details in the text but I have left the wording of the scam emails intact.

Enjoy your read.
